Asked the girls how they celebrated Mid Autumn Festival last weekend and these are their responses…
Avelyn is holding a huge lantern in the shape of a pumpkin. The 2 heart shaped lanterns on the left are lanterns for Mummy and little brother. She chose to show day and night in her piece.
Maddie is also carrying a pumpkin-shaped lantern. (Apparently, the girls made/ were given a pumpkin-shaped lantern each in school). There are a few more lanterns hanging around. Background is generally dark blue because it is night.
Perlyn’s pumpkin-shaped lantern is soooo big that it needed a few people to help carry it!
Grateful for all their shared experiences that enrich their lives and it’s always amazing to see their varied responses!

Avelyn’s ballerina deciding on whether she should wear the yellow dress (look at the clothes hanger of the yellow dress 🙃)… and a huge snowflake! There is also a house in a distance.

A while back the girls painted to raise funds for Ronald McDonald Charity House, a children’s charity in Singapore that provides support, relief and compassionate care to families caring for their young and sick children.
And raised money, they did! And now the 3 works are displayed as a set in Staccato Music School in Tanglin!
Thank you, Staccato Music School in supporting their cause!
Well done, girls!!! 👏👏👏

Nobody’s too young to do good!
Maddie, Perlyn and Avelyn are painting for a good cause – to raise money for Ronald McDonald Charity House, a children’s charity in Singapore that provides support, relief and compassionate care to families caring for their young and sick children.
The girls painted the people and things closest to their hearts – their families and favourite animals – rabbits and penguin!

Doing something special for Papa/ Daddy this Father’s Day!
Avelyn’s mug design shows her whole family in the same room, a reflection of current home sleeping arrangement.
Kids draw and paint from their personal experience!
Her Papa likes coffee, but Avelyn says that coffee is yucks!
Nevertheless, she ‘filled’ his coffee mug with coffee, just for their Papa!
Asked Avelyn to draw herself bringing a mug of coffee to her Papa in her final artwork but she drew her mummy instead. She said that the mug was too heavy for her to carry 😆
Look at how pretty her mummy is, with earrings and necklace!
Really love how every single family member is represented in her work! 😍

The girls were excited to see what will become of their rainbow fish art work from last week…
We learnt about underwater garden today and their works are filled with corals of all colours!
So happy to see them focused and trying independently!
Each child has her own way of expression and vehemently refused help of any kind…
